The Roulston Room is our large east facing room and is a warm, grounding retreat that feels both timeless and deeply comforting. The entire space is wrapped in rich, natural textures of aged timber telling stories of decades past.
A stately antique bed, hand-carved from dark walnut, anchors the room with its sturdy presence. Its tall headboard features intricate scrollwork and time-worn polish, softened by crisp linen sheets. Worn gold accents on the bed frame add to the room’s rustic elegance & reflect the antique gold touches adorning the room.
The windows are framed by heavy drapes, allowing natural light to spill in and dance across the warm wood grain. A vintage writing desk, full of character, sits by the window with a wooden spindle chair beside it fulfilling the comforts of home.
Side lamps with bronze-toned shades cast a golden glow in the evenings, enhancing the room’s cozy, amber-lit atmosphere.
